Privacy Policy
Where your photos live
VowSnap never stores your photos or videos. Guest uploads go directly from the guest's browser to the album owner's own Google Drive. We hold only metadata: file names, upload times, uploader first names, and reaction counts.
What we access in Google Drive
We request the drive.file permission, which only lets VowSnap see and manage files and folders that VowSnap itself created. We cannot see, read, or touch anything else in your Drive. Your Google refresh token is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used solely to upload guest files into your album folders.
What we store about you
Album owners: name, email, and profile picture from Google sign-in, plus your albums and purchase history. Guests: no account, no email. A first name you type and a random device identifier stored in your own browser, used to credit photos and prevent duplicate reactions.
Deleting your data
Deleting an album removes all its metadata from our database. The files remain in your Google Drive, which you control. To delete your account and all associated data, email us.
Third parties
Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see card numbers. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.
